1 After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him.2 Now the Jews' Feast of Booths was at hand.3 So his brothers said to him, “Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing.4 For no one works in secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.”5 For not even his brothers believed in him.6 Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always here.7 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.8 You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come.”9 After saying this, he remained in Galilee.10 But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private.
Luke 13
31 At that very hour some Pharisees came and said to him, “Get away from here, for Herod wants to kill you.”32 And he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.33 Nevertheless, I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.’34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!35 Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
Luke 19
45 And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold,46 saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers.”47 And he was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people were seeking to destroy him,48 but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people were hanging on his words.
Luke 9
51 When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem.52 And he sent messengers ahead of him, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make preparations for him.53 But the people did not receive him, because his face was set toward Jerusalem.54 And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”55 But he turned and rebuked them.56 And they went on to another village.
Mark 11
15 Cuando llegaron a Jerusalén Jesús entró en el templo y comenzó a echar a los que vendían y compraban en el templo. Ustedes, sin embargo, la han convertido en cueva de ladrones.18 Los jefes de los sacerdotes y los maestros de la ley se enteraron y buscaban el modo de acabar con Jesús, porque le tenían miedo, ya que toda la gente estaba asombrada de su enseñanza.19 Cuando anocheció, salieron fuera de la ciudad.
Matthew 21
12 Jesús entró en el templo y echó a todos los que estaban allí vendiendo y comprando, tumbó las mesas de los que cambiaban dinero y los puestos de los que vendían las palomas.13 Y les dijo: –Está escrito: Mi casa es casa de oración, pero ustedes la han convertido en cueva de ladrones.14 Algunos ciegos y cojos se acercaron a Jesús en el templo, y él los sanó.15 Pero los jefes de los sacerdotes y maestros de la ley, al ver los prodigios realizados y a los niños que aclamaban en el templo: «¡Hosanna al Hijo de David!», se indignaron16 y le dijeron: –¿No oyes lo que están diciendo? Jesús les respondió: –Sí. ¿Es que nunca han leído aquel pasaje de la Escritura que dice: De la boca de los niños de pecho has sacado una alabanza?17 Y dejándolos, salió fuera de la ciudad, y se fue a Betania, donde pasó la noche.
